We believe the treatment offered here is the very best that is possible. We are continually researching new treatments and materials as soon as they hit the market, and any that have been proven from trusted verifiable research are adopted and perfected. A powerful microscope enables us to magnify each root canal to a point where we can see clearly into the canal to clean and shape it, (something that is impossible without a microscope, given that a root canal is about the diameter of a human hair). This means we can maintain a 98% success rate, as well as carrying out procedures such as fractured instrument and post removal. Any endodontic surgery is also done using a microscope, and in a theatre sterile environment. Dr Holland was the first dentist in general practice to use a microscope in the UK, having had training in both San Diego, California and San Antonio, Texas.
Before any treatment is started we ensure you understand exactly what is involved and why, and following treatment a comprehensive explanation is given of what to expect in the days and weeks after treatment. Courtesy calls are made to all patients the day following treatment, and post operative review appointments are inclusive for anyone who may need a follow up x-ray to check healing. An emergency contact number is available when the clinic is closed.
